SISC 26 It Happens In Threes

It feels like I haven't blogged in such a long time. Sorry, I was on vacation with the family. I'm home now and will slowly start getting back into the swing of things.

This is a card I made before I went on vacation for SISC 26 It Happens In Threes. My threes are the card stock colors (green, purple and orange), pattern papers and the bling.

Fussy and Fancy 18 Back To School

Here is my card for Fussy and Fancy Challenge 18 Back To School. I love the way this image, What Ever by Stitchy Stamps, expresses the attitude of my kids when they had to go back to school. Also something about this pattern paper from My Minds Eye screams Back To School to me. I know this isn't your typical back to school card but I am happy with the way it turned out. I found this sketch is from Splitcoast Stampers 294.

Oh no, I'm late getting this post up. Yikes, sorry Beth and the rest of the Groovy Gurlz. 

Here's my card for SISC 24 Lace It Up With Stitches. This challenge is wanting you to use stitches (faux or real) and lace. I used Lita from Lita and Roder digi set available at the new StampInsanity Store. I made flowers out of the lace and faux stitched.

SISC 22 Distressed Sketch

Hello, sorry I haven't shared anything since last week. The kids started school this week so things have been a bit hectic. Today there is a new challenge over at StampInsanity. SISC 22 is to use this cool sketch along with some form of distressing. I decided to flip the sketch otherwise the bow would have cover some of my image. I used Katie For a Cure available exclusively at the StampInsanity Store. I distressed the pattern paper with the edge of my scissors then inked them up with grey ink, I think I should have used some black.
