Hi everyone, today there is a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy. Challenge 55 is Polka Dots. As soon as I saw this image posted on 2 Cute Inks Facebook Page, I knew I was going to use it for this challenge. Not sure why but for some reason Patches screamed polka dots to me.

I made this card for my daughter to give to her teacher for Valentine's Day. Not sure yet what else I am going to make but probably something with the same image and papers.

Hello anybody out there. It has been a while since I have posted, sorry about that. Trying to take care of myself and lose weight has taken a priority in my life over the last few months. This has left less time for crafting but I think I am going to try and at least craft one day a week. We'll see how that goes.

This is my card for Fussy and Fancy's Birthday(we celebrating our 2nd birthday this week) or Animal Print Challenge. I used both on my card. I haven't colored an image in a while, it really was fun to color this sassy image by KennyK. I won this stamp along with several other KennyK stamps many month ago, this is the first one I've colored. I'm looking forward to inking up the others soon.

Wow, it's been a while since I have posted anything to my blog. My crafty mojo has been missing for quite some time now. I decide to buy this sweet image from The Paper Shelter to make for Fussy and Fancy's Photo Inspiration Challenge. I enjoyed coloring this sweet image called Cookies for Santa.

Here's the Photo we would like you to use as inspiration. I used the tree and pulled out some of the colors for my card.

It has been quite a while since I played along with Marcia's Music Saved My Soul, I'm not really sure why since I can't do anything unless I have my music on. Well I figured I would play along today. I am sharing a video by Blue October since I saw them in concert on Sunday.

I had a hard time picking a song, they are my favorite band and I want to share every song from every album with you, lol. I decided to pick "The Feel Again (Stay)" because this song and video have a very strong message.

This card was made for my daughter's friend. The invite to her party was shaped like a cupcake so I used that as inspiration for her birthday card. This is my first Tiddly Inks image and my first time using digi paper. I kept the layout pretty simple because I didn't want to hide the Down To My Bones Paper.

Hello yet again blogging friends. This has to be a record of the most consecutive days of posting a card on my blog. Don't get used to though because I don't think I can keep it up for too much longer.

Sadly this is going to be my last card as a Di's Digi Download DT member. I'm bummed that I had to step down but I have over committed myself with DT responsibilities and need to let some of them go. It's not fair to the companies I represent to not give 100% or to myself to be super stressed about getting my cards made. It was hard deciding which team to step down from. Di's term was open ended so I felt like it was the best one to drop at this time. If I still feel like I can't give 100%, I will reevaluate my other Design Teams when their terms end. I will still use Di's images because I adore them.

Happy Friday friends, today I am sharing a card that I made for 2 of my DT's. This cards was made for Simply Betty Challenge All about Rio. We were challenged to use any Rio image, black as the main color and a skull embellishment. At Fussy and Fancy Lisa is challenging us to Make a Card For a Child.Usually this is not my week to post for Fussy and Fancy but one of my fellow DT members needed some extra time so I offered to switch weeks.

I combined Back To School Rio(Simply Betty Stamps) with the Bubblegum Machine from Patties Creations Digital Stamps. I think this is a perfect card for a preteen or teen age girl. They may not consider themselves a child but we all know that they till are.

Hello and Happy Friday everyone. I have 2 posts for you today, this is the first. This is my card for Fussy and Fancy Challenge 33. Chelsea has challenge us to use a zipper or feather on our projects. This was most definitely a challenge for me because I have never used either in my crafting. With all the cool zipper flowers out there I figured I give it a try. The zipper was white because I didn't know what I was going to do when we got it (Jennifer and I spit one zipper). I figured I could dye it what ever color I wanted to once I made my flower. My daughter picked black so she can wear it in her hair whenever she wants without having to worry about it matching. Now I need to go out and get more zippers so I can make her a few more in different colors.

Here is the tutorial I used to make my flower. She kind of talks a lot but I thought her tutorial was pretty easy to follow.

I'm very late getting this post up so I'll make it short and sweet. Today is release day of the Sweet Gothic Kids Easter in rubber and digi. Not only is it release day but there is also a new challenge over at SBC. This time around we challenge you to create a card, page layout, or any crafty project Easter themed, and use any or both of the following in your projects; one Chocolate Bunny, two Easter Eggs. Yesterday was my hubby's birthday and I don't know about you but I truly struggle with masculine cards. So much so that I waited till the last minute to make his card. Preview Day 2 Sweet Gothic Kids Easter Judy

Hello friends, today is Preview Day 2 at Simply Betty. We are previewing Judy from the new Sweet Gothic Kids Easter line. These sassy Easter images will be available on Friday at the Simply Betty Shop in digi and rubber.

I started coloring Judy in soft colors and had a hard time deciding which colors to add because my mind thinks pastels with Easter. I'm not really a pastel kind of girl so I decided to go a bit non traditional with the pops of black. This isn't your traditional Easter image so I figured it would be ok. Happy Friday everyone. Today I am sharing my card for Fussy and Fancy Challenge 32. Our challenge is to use the fabulous sketch created by Mindy.

I made a card use 2 of my favorite things, Echo Park Paper and an image by Di's Digi Downloads. This is Little Rocker Chick, isn't she adorable. I paired her up with For The Record, the stickers are part of the collection as well. I love the little scrabble tiles especially because right now I'm a bit addicted to the game called Words with Friends. Here's what I came up with. I made an acetate box using this tutorial. I've been wanting to make one of these for a while now, couldn't believe how easy it was to do. Also this is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, perfect size for party favors. The items on the itinerary that I used are Not a card, Black & White, Unusual Sentiment, and No image.

Hello friends, I'm here to share a card I made this weekend using the new Echo Park Playground pattern paper. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to love this line. Well, now that I have it I can't wait to make more fun cards with it.

This card I made for my daughter's friend. Her party was "peace, love, groovy" themed so I thought Hippie Anya was perfect. The yellow bow was added after card was put together because my daughter insisted it needed to be on the card. She is so opinionated about my card making that she might need to make her own cards soon.

I used my favorite girl Tilly Birthday. For some reason I really struggled with getting this card together. I think it was because I was set on using some of my Echo Park pattern paper. I've colored her a few times to go with that paper and wanted her to not look like the other times. Well in the end I used this blue that I pulled from a sheet of Little Girl pattern paper. Once I added the brown I decided she no longer went with that paper so I went through my papers and found these 2 Bo Bunny pattern papers. Crazy how you can envision one thing but in the end come up with something completely different. Below are the challenge I will be entering this card into. Have a great weekend.

Hello everyone, feels like forever since I've last posted a card. I actually have 2 cards I forgot to post over the weekend. I will hopefully post them later today.

This is my card for StampInsanity's 50th Challenge. Wow, I can't believe we are already at 50. This challenge is called Holy Guacamole, you can create whatever you want as long as there is a pop of green somewhere on your project.

I tried to make an "easy" card by opting to use a sentiment instead of coloring an image. Well, this "easy" card took just as long to put together as one of my more involved cards. I guess "easy" and I don't mesh.

For my card I decided to use Christy. She was colored with Copics on X-Press It Blending Card. I paired her up with this retired SU paper that I really wish I would have stocked up on. My daughter loves to tell me how I should color my images and she suggested that Christy should be a blonde. She's cute as a blonde but I'm thinking next time she will be a brunette. Hello everyone, today I am sharing my card for Desert Island Crafters Challenge 3. To play along you need to pick at least 3 items from the itinerary to make a project. The winner of the challenge will get to set the itinerary and join the team in a future challenge.

My card features Wednesday from the Sweet Gothic World Kids Line by Simply Betty Stamps. She was colored with Copics to go with my favorite Echo Park Be Mine pattern paper. The flowers were made out of circle nestabilities and a couple circle punches. I distressed the edges with my scissors them crumpled them up pretty good to give them a worn look. They were so easy to make, I'm going to have to remember to keep that in mind when I'm looking for an embellishment.
