Fussy and Fancy 21 and A Diva with an Attitude

Wahoo it is Friday. Today is the very first Digi's With Attitude! Challenge. How exciting! Challenge #1 is use metal. There is also a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy. Fussy and Fancy Challenge 21 is Halloween. How could I not use Devil Diva from the Grumpy Gretchen Collection for both challenges?

For my card I used my favorite Twilighty color combo again :). I used this awesome sketch from Tuesday Trio 36.  Devil Diva was colored with Copics(E25, E27, E51, E53, E55, C9, C7, R24, R27, & R29). The metal pieces I used are brads and a Metal Frame around my sentiment, from Sentiment Set 1 by Digi's With Attitude! The pattern paper is from Making Memories.

I hope you can join us for Digi's With Attitude! Challenge 1. Also check out the Blog Candy that ends Oct. 14 at 11:59 EST.

SISC 30 and Devil Dolls Release

SISC 30 is "Trick-it or Treat-it" - (like "Naughty or Nice") Have fun with either 'trick-ing' or 'treat-ing' your projects with using any of your favorite techniques or a Halloween theme, etc...

For my card I used Hilda from Devil Dolls, being released today. Wow was she so much fun to color. I think she is a little hottie. The technique I used is one of my favorites that I don't do very much anymore. I roughed up the edges with my scissors. I also used my very favorite color combo to create with. It's so Twilighty and I really miss making my Twilight inspired cards. The sketch I used is from Beary Sweet Challenge 11

All supplies SU except for image and Copics.

Cousin Carly with a Sweet Sketch

Here's a card I made for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 68 and A Spoon Full Of Sugar 123 Spots and Stripes. I colored Cousin Carly by Di's Digi Downloads a while ago so I don't remember which Copics I used on her. I do remember that I colored her to use with this pattern paper from My Mind's Eye So Sophie Graceful Collection. The colored card stock and ribbon are from SU.

Thanks for stopping by. I am trying really hard to get back into creating. Hopefully soon I will get back to posting on a more regular basis than once or twice a week.

Embossing With StampInsanity

Good morning blogging friends. Today there is a new challenge over at StampInsanity. SISC 28 is all about embossing. I used this sentiment from the Henry's Snowman available at the StampInsanity Store. I kept things simple and let this card be all about the sentiment and embossing.

Totally off topic here, just wanted to say WAHOO I have 100 followers. Thank you I appreciate all of you.

2 Cards for Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 19

Happy Friday blogging friends. Today I am sharing 2 cards for Fussy and Fancy Challenge 19. Our current theme is Christmas Colors. I wasn't sure if I wanted to make a Christmas card or a regular card. I decided in the end to make both.

This first card features Cousin Carly by Di's Digi Downloads. I love the way she turned out. I colored her to go with this Pink Paislee's Cupid Paper.

The second card features A Letter To Santa, also by Di's Digi Downloads. I paired this image up with Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses Pattern Paper. I added some Polar White Flower Soft on the trim of the Santa suit and hat. I also  added some to the ground and the top of the mailbox.

SISC 27 One Layer Card

Yeah, it's Thursday! I am so happy it's Thursday because my hubby will be home sometime today, he has been in Vegas since Friday. Today there is also a new challenge over at StampInsanity. SISC 27 is One Layer Wonder. When I first saw this challenge I was discouraged because I am not a one layer kind of girl. I spent a few days thinking this one over. Final I had a light bulb moment and I envisioned these foot prints going across the card. The hardest part was lining up the feet since the stamp only has one set of human feet with half a set of wolf feet (see stamp sheet below my card). It took a few tries before I got this set of prints. This first picture is what I first came up with. After taking a few pictures, I thought there was a bit too much white space.

Otherworldly Loves by StampInsanity

I pulled out this charm from Artful Inkables. I put it on a cell phone charm holder(I'm not sure what it is called). I then looped it around the ribbon and slid the knot a bit to the left. I'm still not sure which version of this card I like best. What do you think the first one or this one?

StampInsanity is having a DT call. If you are interested in being one of the Groovy Gurlz check out the details here. You have till Friday September 24th to apply.
