Fussy and Fancy 27

Here is my post for Fussy and Fancy Challenge 27. The challenge is to create a 3-D gift with matching card for a celebration. We have a great line up of sponsors since we are celebrating our 1 year birthday.

I decided to make a birthday card this time using Tilly from Simply Betty Stamps. I colored her in with Copics to go with this Be Mine paper by Echo Park. For the 3-D gift I made a pair of hair bows using SU ribbon. These were super easy, now my daughter wants them in all colors. The sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 83.

Supplies:
Be Mine paper and stickers by Echo Park
Georgia Pacific card stock
SU card stock and ribbon
Kaiser Black Rhinestones

SISC 41 Hardcore Hardware

Happy Thursday everyone, today there is a new challenge over at StampInsanity. SISC 41 is Hardcore Hardware, basically use some metal on your projects. I used Pierrette from Les Coquettes digi set, she can be found at the SI Store. She is colored in with copics to go with this beautiful Bo Bunny paper I received for Christmas from Jennifer. My metal elements are brads and the heart and key charms I bought last year at Michael's.

I'm thinking of listing this card in my Etsy store, I just worry about shipping. For those of you that sell your cards how do you package them? I worry about corners getting bent. Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with a new project for Fussy and Fancy.

SISC 38 It's All About Me

Here is my project for StampInsanity Challenge 38, It's All About Me. Ok first off I totally misinterpreted the meaning of this challenge. I thought I was suppose to create something for me. Well I was suppose to create something that embodies me. I need to pay better attention next time so I don't goof again.

For the challenge I made an ornament for the Christmas tree. I used one of the Maddies from the Holiday Princesses Digi Set. The sentiment is from the Morgan Star Rubber Stamp Set which happens to be on sale for half price right now. Check it out here. I used paper that came from the Winter Mat Stack by DCWV. This paper is kind special to me because it belonged to my sister in law. This time of year is difficult because it was her favorite time, she was one of those people that wore a Santa hat the day after Thanksgiving. Yikes, I'm getting all sad and sappy on you. Well I hope you like my little ornament and check the rest of the gurlz projects.
