Good morning, today Friends Having Fun has a new recipe challenge.
Edited to add close up picture.
Theme: “Christmas in July”
- make a holiday card or scrapbook page (you can choose any wintery holiday: Christmas, Hanukah, Festivus, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, etc.) I made a Christmas card.
- make your card long and narrow to fit a business sized envelope (4 1/8 in x 9 ½ in). An easy dimension is to cut your 8.5 x 11 cardstock to 8 in by 9 in and score the long way down the middle (yields a folded card size of 4 x 9). If you are scrabooking, one of the elements in your layout should be this size. My card is 4 x 8.
- incorporate your favorite technique. I inked up the image panel with sponge. I also used my copics.

As an optional element/ingredient: theme it something “holiday” in your home state or country. For example, Rebecca is in Florida …. a Christmas theme may include the beach like theme like a surfin’ santa, a sea shell christmas tree, etc.
Supplies:

Pattern paper from Oriental Trading Co (really old)
