Cool Ian

I spent several hours stamping and coloring this image of Ian from the Greeting Farm. It was the first time using watercolor paper, since I was water coloring. It was not as easy as doing it on my SU whisper white. I wasted a whole sheet trying to get his hair right. I ended up using my Soft Suede marker and aqua painter for hair I still think it could be better but it will do. The sketch for this card comes from Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 12. I made this card for possibly entering into the Club Anya Design Team, that is where the red, brown and white come from.

Supplies used SU Real Red Cardstock and Brads, SU Soft Suede Cardstock and Marker, stamp is Ian from The Greeting Farm, Large Deckled Rectangle Nesties, Retired SU Hodge Podge and Rub on.
Can you tell I used dimensionals to raise clothes and to raise Ian?

Miss Original

I really like the way this card came out. I made it for 365 Cards Day 176 sketch challenge. I used my SU watercolor pencils and aqua painter to color Miss Anya in. Let me explain why she is missing her legs, lol. Well I colored her boots black and used my Crystal Effects on those cute little boots. I set it on the table to dry, I was home alone. Well it is hot here in Cali, the air kicked on at 80 degrees and blew my little girl upside down on the ground. Boots were ruined but instead of wasting the image I decided to use part of it.
Cardstock is Real Red, DP is a sneak peak of the new Night & Day Specialty from SU Holiday Mini, Ribbon is Real Red, Sentiment is a rub on from colorbok (won it from Twilight Tuesday).

A Friday Birthday Sketch

I made this card using Friday Sketchers sketch 66. While I was searching for a sketch I came across Stamp Something's Birthday theme, since I love combining challenges I made this a birthday card.
This little image has been colored for over a week. I used my SU color pencils and aqua painters. For the life of me I can't figure out what SU color her top is, lol. If you have the SU color pencils this is the pencil between the pink and the purple. I looked at all my papers and couldn't match it so I just used Tempting Turquoise card stock. DP is from a summer stack I bought years ago and the flower gems are from Michael's dollar spot. The image is from the Miss Anya Collection . Thanks for looking.

Rachel's Sister's Birthday Card

Let me start out by saying I love this card. It came out better than even I expected, lol. I was asked to make this card by my hubby's cousin for her sister. They are Twilight addicts as well.

I used the sketch from Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge 9. I turned it on it's side so I could fit Edward without having to make a bigger card. The only thing I am unhappy with would be his hair. I used SU watercolor pencils for the first time and I should have tested colors before I put them in his hair. I was also coloring him at night so that didn't help either.

I crinkled up back layer for dimension. It was scary doing it cause I didn't want to mess it up and waste precious paper, lol. I have a question for you all... how do I get a good pic of the dimension on my card? I am having issues with getting a good pic but I know it is possible because I've seen them. Thanks!
This is the inside of the card. I am very happy with the way it turned out.
Supplies are all SU except for Edward Stamp and metal dots (dots I won from Twilight Tuesday blog candy) Paper Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White. DP Christmas Coco and Night and Day are from the SU mini that will be available next month. Stamps Sincere Salutations, Birthdays Count and Friends 24/7.

TTIC43 Blue Does

OMG I made a scrapbook page. I am so not a scrapbooker, it scares me for some reason. But, I knew I had to do something for TTIC43 A Love Song For Edward And Bella because it is involved with two things I love, music and Twilght. Well I knew I wanted to use this song by Blue October. To me it is a perfect Edward song. It is such a beautiful song (if you want to listen shuffle through my music player and find it). Oh and do you see those red hearts, I won those from Twilight Tuesday's July Blog Candy. Oh and I have a second song from Blue October that would go with New Moon. It is called "Picking Up The Pieces". I will try to get to making a page for that song as well.

Supplies: DP is from retired SU hostess Pack, Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm

Butterfly Thanks

Yeah, I got to actually used a stamp today! I was so excited as I was making this card because it was looking like I was doing an SU only card. I forgot I was adding the charm for Stamp Something Challenge, oh well next time I will get an SU only card done. I used the sketch from CPS128. I think it came out okay.Supplies: Cardstock SU Old Olive, DP SU Cottage Wall, Ink SU Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry, and SU elastic silver cord

Designer Bag for Alice

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA, I have no good excuse other than I have too many addictions and too little time to enjoy them all, lol. I set aside some time today to play with some paper and stamps. I haven't used a stamp yet but it is still early here in Cali.

I made this purse for Twilight Tuesday's special Wednesday challenge. Let me tell you this is a good challenge, first you had to make anything but a card and then it had to include The men or women of Twilight as the theme. Well I knew I needed to make a purse, because Alice is into her very high end glamour. Now I don't own any designer handbags but this is my version of one.

Supplies: small treat sack, DP from Michael's, SU Kraft Cardstock, SU Brads, Rich Razzleberry Ink pad for sponging and Rich Razzleberry Marker for stitching.

Side View:Pocket open (oh my look at my inky fingers, lol)

Penny knows how to have fun

Isn't Penny too cute. She is designed by my friend Mindy Baxter and is available at 2 red bananas. I really wasn't going to make any cards today, my plan was to color some images to use tomorrow. I colored this Penny and decided she needed to be entered into Creative Card Crew Girls just want to have fun challenge. I was also blog hopping today and knew I wanted to create something for The Pink Elephant Challenge 26 which was to use a flower, three brads and designer paper.I think those two challenges combined together very well.
