Bella in Rain for Fussy and Fancy Movie Theme

Good morning, I bring you a card I made for Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 5 Movies. Well if you know me, you know I made something Twilight related. I'm not a huge fan of the Twilight Movie, I should have seen the movie before reading the book. I couldn't see me doing a different movie though.

Our sponsor this challenge is Softpencil, so I used this image that I have had for a while. She kind of reminds of Bella. I colored with my Copics two of the same image. I cut out the girl and umbrella of one of the images and used dimensionals to pop them up. I used Clear Spica on the rain drops and the puddle. I used a sponge to distress the edges of the white panels and the DP. I ran the black DP through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then distressed the edges with my scissors and then went over the white parts with my sponge and red ink.

I made this card using Polar Bear and Penguin Digi, this adorable image can only be purchased here. Aren't these 2 friends too cute. I used Crystal Effects on the piece of ice the polar bear is sitting on. I also used my Clear Spica to outline the water. I love the way this image turned out, but then again I seem to love the way all these fabulous images turn out.

Hello, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Today I am showing you a card I made for SPCC 36. This is not a color combo I would usually use but I love the way Tilda turned out. When I first saw these Magnolia stamps I didn't care to much for them. Then I saw the way Mindy and April use them and now I think I need to get some. I'm lucky to have them as RL friends, so I have gotten a few images from them. Thanks for stopping by!

Isabella's 2nd Grade How To Project

Just a quick post from a proud mommy :). My daughter made this card for a project at school. She had do a How To Presentation and actually made a second card showing the class the step by step instruction. I let her take Maddie by StampInsanity to school, I know I'm such as nice mom right, lol. She drew in the mouth and shoes because she thought they made Maddie look cuter. I think she did a great job for a 7 year old. The whole card design and embellishments we all her idea. I really wanted it to be her project so I didn't put my 2 cents in, even though I wanted to, lol. Anyways thanks for looking at Isabella's card.

Hello everyone! Here is a card I made for the first challenge over at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT Blog. To play along you will need Happy Crabby Digi. This adorable image will be a freebie so make sure to head on over to see how you can get him.

When I first saw this image I thought Summer Vacation. My kids love to go to the beach during their break and this image reminded me of that. I colored the image in with copics. I tore the Creamy Caramel card stock to give it dimension, then out lined the top with Clear Spica. I also used to Spica on the sand in the image. I knew I had some old DP that was summer related so I went through it and thought this one was perfect for this card.

Farewell Twilight Tuesday

Today is such a sad day :(. Twilight Tuesday has posted their final Challenge today. For TTIC 60 you needed to create a project that used printed text. Well I was wonder how I was going to do that. While I was on Facebook I saw Erica's card and knew I had to try making one of those flowers. I made mine a bit bigger since it was the main piece on this card. I decided to use the last TTSC20 sketch. I just want all the girls at Twilight Tuesday that you have inspired me beyond belief. I created my blog so I could play along with you all. I am truly sad to see Twilight Tuesday go but I know I will still see many of you in blogland. I wish you all the best, I know today must be hard for many of you so big hugs to you.

I decided it was time to use this BoBunny ST Nick Sleigh DP. I bought it especially for my Twilight projects. I've seen Tonya use it a few times and had to have it. I also used my StampInsanity Otherworldly Loves stamp set. I distressed the sentiment and flower by wrinkling them up and sponging with some Close To Cocoa Ink. I added some Angel Wings Shimmerz to the flower.

Dazzling Tilda

Wow, do you know how amazed I am by how many entries we had at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 3? We had 401 entries, that is awesome for our 3rd challenge.

This is my card for Challenge 4, we want you to "Dazzle Us". I thought this image was perfect for the weather we have been having here in California. Of course now the rain is over and the sun is out but there were some crazy days there the past couple of weeks.

I colored Tilda to go with these Prima Flowers. After I colored the blue, I looked through my DP for papers that matched. I found this retired SU DP, so I colored Tilda's coat and umbrella trim green. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the puddle and the rain drops as well as a little on my Prima Flowers. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Cat

Hello everyone, did you know 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT blog is having a giveaway going on right now? If not I suggest you check it out here.

I colored this adorable image to go with this DP. Isn't this cat so cute with the yarn in his mouth? I realizes after I colored in the image that I didn't have many orange embellishments so I kept this card simple. I did have some orange bling but this kitty wasn't feeling the bling so I opted for clear Dew Drops. I chose this sentiment because that what I feel when I see this image. Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to check out Heidi's Blog, she has exclusive digi's that will only be available there. She also post new sketches for you to rate whether they should be made into a stamp or not.

Supplies:
2 Cute Cat-Knit Stamp
SU and Bazzill card stock

Keira's Birthday Card

Wahoo, I manage to make a card today. This card is for my Goddaughter Keira's Birthday next month. This Tilda reminds me of my sister when she was little. My grandmother always dressed her in girlie dresses. I know she doesn't make Keira wear girlie dresses all the time but I'm sure she has a few in her closet.
I love the way this card turned out. I got the rippled ribbon idea from Mindy. This was my first time attempting to do it, next time I will plan the spacing between ripples a little better. Thanks for stopping by :).

2 Cute Thankful Owl

Hello everyone. I have made this Mini Pizza Box for my Wednesday post at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT Blog. I included a tutorial on how to make one of these Mini Pizza Boxes, check it out and tell me what you think. I also made this for Raise The Bar Challenge- The Older the Better, I used some of the first card stock I bought 3 years ago as well as some 3 year old DCWV DP form one of those must have stacks. If only I knew then what I know now, you will never go through one of those stacks. You are more than likely to get sick of it before you use it all, lol. I keep it on hand for when the kids want to make cards or scrapbook. I also keep it because I can't get rid of anything when it come to my supplies. You never know when you'll need it :).

I had planned on putting chocolates or tea lights in my Pizza box but I didn't have any in the house. I found the Lifesavers and they worked out just fine. Thanks for stopping by.

Zeke and Maddie

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was able to do some coloring and this great card :). I made this card using my last full sheet of Cool Caribbean card stock, isn't that just the saddest thing ever, lol. Seriously though I did love that color, now I just have scraps unless I hunt for it on Ebay, but I doubt I'd do that.
Anyways I made this using Zeke & Maddie by StampInsanity. Aren't they a cute couple? My kids insist they are not a couple. They said they are siblings, lol. Kids just don't get it, lol. I colored them to go with this DP, I added Clear Spica to the red in Maddie's outfit. Thanks for looking :).
