2 Cute Thank You Owl

Hello everyone I have another 2 Cute card to share. I decided to use Best Friends Owl for a Thank You card I needed for a teacher at my daughter's school. This image is so cute and fun to work with. I intended to color my image in neutral colors so I could use any colors in the background, go figure I pick DP that has gray in it, lol.

I also made this card for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Let's Get Scrappy. The DP and Baja Breeze card stock are from my scraps. Boy do I have a lot of scraps, I could create cards for the rest of the year just using scraps and probably never go through it all. Ha, but I probably could say the same with new never cut paper, so I will just keep mixing it up.

Reminder that there is still plenty of time to enter our 2 Cute's Second Challenge and get the adorable bunny digi for free. We look forward to seeing what you create.

Fussy and Fancy Easter

Good morning, it's Friday and that means there's a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy Friday. The new challenge is Easter. Our fabulous sponsor this time around is The Charm Barn. They generously donated Easter charms for the DT to use.

I decided to pull the bright cheery colors of the Easter egg charm and use them on the image. This stamp has a lot of small details so I had a hard time stamping a good image. Coloring was also a bit challenging but over I think it came okay. I have to say overall I'm not loving this card, there elements that I love but I think it is the layout that I'm not feeling. Well I hope you check out the rest of the DT samples because they rocked this challenge.

Today I bring you a card featuring Pet Angels Digi, this digi can be found here. I thought I'd make another baby card because for one I will be needed one soon and secondly baby is what I think when I see this image. I kept it simple so the image would be the focal point.

Just a quick reminder that our second challenge over at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT Blog will begin Thursday. You will want to stop by to see the samples from the DT and also learn how you can get a free digi to play along with us. I hope you all adore the digi as much as I do.

SISC1 Maddie dressed in Purple

Today StampInsanity announced their first challenge along with releasing some new digi images (this is not one, lol). If you want a peak at the new images check them out here. You will want to see these flirty girlies because they are super cute and sexy at the same time :). I think Joszette is my favorite.

On to my card, I made this for StampInsanity Sketch Challenge 1. Wow it took me around 3 hours to make this card. I'm not sure if you can tell but I distressed the edges of the background DP as well as the white pieces of card stock with Basic Gray and Black ink. I also had to cut the image out because I stamped her too close to the edge to use my oval nestabilities. It wasn't that easy cutting around her hair with a fractured arm but I took my time and managed to do a decent job. I am loving the way this card turned out.

I decided to add the sentiment because I have a lot of birthdays coming up in the next couple month. Need to make sure I have plenty on hand. Most importantly I need to make sure I mail them, yeah shame on me I'm not very good at that. I'm sure my bloggy friends will help keep me on track.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Pea Gift Box

Happy Friday everyone. Today there is a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy Friday, the challenge is Green. It can be the color or you can "Go Green", I decided to do both. Our sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps, she is generously donating a $20 gift certificate to her store. She also generously donated stamps to our DT which we are extremely thankful for. If you haven't checked out her store I suggest you do because it rocks.
This box had those peppermint sticks covered in chocolate. I tend to keep boxes and containers like this because I know I could eventually use them in my crafting. Most of them sadly just sit without being used but I'm going to get better at using them. I thought a set of cards would fit in here but it is slightly too small, so more than likely I will put candies in it.

On a different note, I went to see orthopedic yesterday and I didn't need a cast or even the splint anymore. I just need to keep it in a sling till tomorrow and then I can let my arm loose. I will start physical therapy next week to gain back my range of motion. Not sure how I'm going to like not having my arm protected since it still does hurt but it is good to know that the healing process isn't going to take as long as I thought. Thanks for visiting, I hope you join us with challenge and check out the rest of the DT's creations.

Fussy and Fancy Friday- Green
A Spoon Full Of Sugar- Recycle

Juanita's Green Project

Birthday Tag

Here's a quick tag I made for 2 Cute's DT Blog. I colored this image to use on a card but I'm having issues using my paper cutter with one hand. I decided to use my nestabilities through my cuttlebug. This cute digi is called Bear Cub Friends, aren't those cubs too cute :). Going to keep it short because typing with one hand can get annoying, l0l. Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
SU Sentiments, ink, and White card stock

SPCC 38

Here's a card I made the day before I fractured my arm. This card is for SPCC #38. Since I didn't have copics to match these colors I decided to keep it simple and use some SU stamps. I've grown out of the majority of SU stamps but there are a few, like this one, that will be great to turn to when coloring is not going to be part of the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
SU Caed stock, ribbon, ink, markers, and stamps

Taking a break

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a break from crafting. I don't want to but I currently can't do anything but color. On Saturday I fell and I have a fracture near my right elbow. Hopefully I will be up to crafting soon rather then later. Thanks for understanding.
