SISC 38 It's All About Me

Here is my project for StampInsanity Challenge 38, It's All About Me. Ok first off I totally misinterpreted the meaning of this challenge. I thought I was suppose to create something for me. Well I was suppose to create something that embodies me. I need to pay better attention next time so I don't goof again.

For the challenge I made an ornament for the Christmas tree. I used one of the Maddies from the Holiday Princesses Digi Set. The sentiment is from the Morgan Star Rubber Stamp Set which happens to be on sale for half price right now. Check it out here. I used paper that came from the Winter Mat Stack by DCWV. This paper is kind special to me because it belonged to my sister in law. This time of year is difficult because it was her favorite time, she was one of those people that wore a Santa hat the day after Thanksgiving. Yikes, I'm getting all sad and sappy on you. Well I hope you like my little ornament and check the rest of the gurlz projects.

A Set of Christmas Cards

Here's a set of Christmas cards I made today. I wanted these to be quick cards to through together but in the end it took a lot of time. Most of the time was spent trying to figure out where and how to put this together. I had all the supplies ready to go. I paired up this Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas with SU River Rock card stock and ribbon. I really think they look great together. This sentiment is from StampInsanity Morgan's Star Stamp Set. It's such a sweet message that I let it be the focal point. I sponged the sentiment panel with River Rock ink and Real Red for the first card and Bermuda Bay (meant to use Baja Breeze, oops) for the second card.
