SISC80 Final StampInsanity Stamps Challenge

Today I am sharing a card I made for the final StampInsanity Stamps Challenge. SISC80 is to CASE a card that you love.
Since this is the final challenge I decided to do a Twilight card. My love of Twilight is what introduced me to StampInsanity and Beth. Oh and tomorrow a new Twilight (Breaking Dawn part 1) movie is coming out, maybe that has a little to do with it too :).

 Supplies:
Sentiment from OtherWorldly Loves Set by StampInsanity
SU Card stock, pattern paper and ribbon
Red Kaiser Rhinestones
Heart shaped Swarovski crystal

Here is the card I CASED by Lori Ulrich. I picked this card because I love the color combo and the pleated paper. Check out Lori's blog, her work is stunning.

I decided to make a Twilight-y card for this challenge, not sure if you know this but I do love Twilight :). I think this is by far the easiest card I have ever made. I kept wanting to add more to it but reminded myself of the theme, so I kept it as clean as possible.

StampInsanity Challenge 62

Today there is a new challenge over at StampInsanity Stamps Challenge. Challenge 62 is Oh Boy! Happy Father's Day! I have to say StampInsanity and Father's Day were really hard for me to combine. I think mainly because I was thinking of my hubby.

Photobucket

On Monday night while my hubby was in bed reading, the idea of making him a bookmark was born. I spent ALL day Tuesday coming up with this bookmark. Not exactly what I envisioned, I may redo it.

Today I am sharing my card for SISC 56- Heavy Metal. I know, my cards not so heavy in the metal department. I sort of let the image and papers dictate the way this card turned out. My tiny bits of metal are brads in the center of the flowers.

SISC 54 Let's Go Retro

Hello everyone, today there is a new challenge over at StampInsanity. Tanya, the new DT Coordinator Extraordinaire at StampInsanity has challenged us to go Retro. Yikes, I have to say that this challenge truly challenged me. To me the 80's is not retro but I'm figuring to the young people out there it is, lol.

Did you notice my new blog banner and design? I want to thank Stacy from Vampire Craftin for hooking me up with a cool looking blog. If you like the way it turned out I highly encourage you to head over to her blog or Facebook Page  and let her know.

SISC 50

Hello everyone, feels like forever since I've last posted a card. I actually have 2 cards I forgot to post over the weekend. I will hopefully post them later today.
This is my card for StampInsanity's 50th Challenge. Wow, I can't believe we are already at 50. This challenge is called Holy Guacamole, you can create whatever you want as long as there is a pop of green somewhere on your project.
I tried to make an "easy" card by opting to use a sentiment instead of coloring an image. Well, this "easy" card took just as long to put together as one of my more involved cards. I guess "easy" and I don't mesh.

Challenges:
Card Patterns 105- Sketch

Supplies:
SU card stock, border punch, and pattern paper

Queen for a Day

Hello my blogging friends, today I am sharing my card for SISC 48 Photo au Mojo. We had to use this cool pic from Sephora as inspiration. I used the colors and shimmer. SBC White Out

Happy Friday everyone, I'm here to share my card for Simply Betty Challenge White Out. Since many of you have been experiencing lots of the fluffy white stuff out side we thought it would be fun to make a project in honor of it. We want to see you make a card with just white, you can add color to your image only. Sounds challenging but once I went through my supplies, it really wasn't that hard. The key for me were the cuttlebug embossing folders and the glitter card stock. I love the way this turned out, I hope you can find some time to join us.

SISC46

Good morning friends, here's the card I made for SISC 46. The challenge is this awesome sketch that Beth came up with. I used Joszette this time around. I colored her with Copics to go with my favorite Echo Park Be Mine pattern papers. I distressed the edges of the papers with my scissors then sponged them with 2 different shades of grey ink (I was going for subtle, maybe a little too subtle though). The hardest part for me was ripping the pattern paper, it felt so wrong to do, lol. It did in the end turn out fine, I guess I just worry about ruining a precious piece of paper.
I hope you get a chance to join us at StampInsanity.
