What do you do with your cards?

Seriously I want to know. Do you actually give them away, lol? I have no clue why I hoard my cards but this is getting ridiculous. I thought I would put some things in this file container while I cleaned up my stamping area but look it's full of cards already. Most of them are old, not even my style anymore. Do I strip them of their embellishments or what??? Help me please.

I donate mine to the armed services as they send them over to the active gals and guys and they supply the envelopes for them. I just box them up priority, I can get about 100-150 in a box. I know they truely appreciate them as they do not have anywhere to purchase cards while on active duty.

Just like Jacki said, they send them to soldiers so they have something to send home. Plus, the ladies are really nice. They have also set up a stamping site they do a lot of challenges and hops on. You would love it!

I haven't yet but I am getting some ready to donate to the armed services also. I saw a blog hop recently on Operation Write Home & thought it was a great idea.

My friend Sandy runs Operation Write Home and send them to the troops. Here's the website if you're interested.

I'm still hoarding mine...but it's true...when is it gonna stop? I WILL keep some...but I'm thinking I will send some to friends and try to sell others on my Etsy shop. I couldn't bear to take any of them apart. The other ideas are great too!

I'm am the same way! I have a drawer in my classroom with about 60 cards in it. I put them there on the pretense of using them for staff members and some I do but some don't apply to that and really I just hoard them, lol. I was just thinking about packing some of them up for my mom and then maybe doing the Operation Write Home thing. I have such a hard time parting with them though. :(
